Imagine a competition gaining over 1000 entries in less than 24 hours of its announcement. Dope, right?

That’s what we thought too. We were blown away when world class reality singing competition, The Voice Nigeria, announced these metrics which have since become thousands of entries. What better way to come back with a bang after its three year-hiatus. It will be recalled that the last season of the show aired in 2017.

This season will be the first season of The Voice Nigeria to be fully produced in Nigeria.

The producer; UN1TY Production and co-producer; Livespot360, have teamed up with television giant from the UK, ITV, international record label, Universal Music UK and YouTube to ensure that Nigerians get a bigger, better and more entertaining season.

If there is one thing we know, it is that The Voice Nigeria has consistently provided a huge platform for exceptional singing talents to showcase their skills, gain recognition and kick-start their musical careers. One doesn’t even have to win the competition to benefit from its many opportunities.

This season will air on both DSTV via African Magic and free to Air via AIT channels & Wazobia TV. It will also show on YouTube to the over 1billion YouTube viewers on The Voice global multichannel YouTube account.

Since this season promises to give Nigerians some musical gbas gbos that are long overdue, we cannot wait to see all of the super amazing talents that will come off the show and go on to bless our ears with sweet music.

The energy from coaches this year will be super contagious with Yemi Alade and Waje as returning coaches while Falz and Darey are the new coaches.

You can be rest assured of a very entertaining show.

It has been a great couple of years for the Nigerian music industry with increased global attention and appreciation for the Nigerian sound. Some Nigerian artistes have gone on to feature or be featured in hit songs with top international artistes.

The Voice Nigeria Season 3 will further showcase Nigerian talents to a global audience.

Registration for The Voice Nigeria is still on but will close on September 19, 2020. If you think you have what it takes to become the next The Voice Nigeria champion, register on the official website www.thevoicenigeria.com Registration is free.

The show is open to both female and male contestants who are Nigerians and have a government-issued means of Identification. This season of the show is sponsored by First Bank, Baba Ijebu and many others.

For us, we can’t wait for the TV show to begin airing. We know we will have fun and see the unveiling of superstars.
