Shatta Wale took a dig at Sarkodie, after the Sarkcess Music Records Boss congratulated him on being the only Ghanaian artiste to work with Beyonce on the Lion King Album. We reported earlier that the album will be released on the 18th of July and from the tracklist released already, Shatta Wale will be on a song with Beyonce titled “Already”. Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Tekno are also on the album. Shortly after the report went viral, Sarkodie had tweeted; Welcome home Queen @Beyonce officially Big shouts @shattawalegh !!! And all our brothers and sisters on there ... Big One for the culture But reacting to the congratulatory message from Sarkodie, Shatta Wale called him a hypocrite in an interview with Zylofon FM. He claimed that the the "tweet was not from Sarkodie's heart", as he has always been acting like a boss to him which he hates. “Sarkodie has become too known. He was recently on Hitz FM and he was trying to pose big to me. I don’t pose big to people. Music is not about your dress and it’s not about how you speak. The two Ghanaian artistes beef has been on for a while. It was reignited in 2018, after Shatta Wale accused Sarkodie of failing to appear for the video shoot of a song they did together. He rebuked Ghanaian artists for not being supportive of each other, and was quite angry that Sarkodie was shooting a video with a Nigerian artiste.
“I don’t want hypocrites around me. Sarkodie has always been a hypocrite. I didn’t wish him on his birthday. He think he can tweet about my collabo and make people say he’s a matured person. I won’t retweet his tweet. He can say that message but I know deep down within him it wasn’t a real tweet.”
