JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, has been cancelled by a number of people because of her latest book which they say is transphobic.

 

The author has been accused of transphobia multiple times due to her opinion about LGBTQ issues. 

 

The 55-year-old has now written a book called Troubled Blood slated for release this week and the content of the book has caused outrage. The book is about a male serial killer who dresses as a woman to kill his victims.

 

Fans of the author took to Twitter to declare her "dead" thereby sending #RIPJKRowling to the top of the Twitter trending charts.
