Now That Alcohol and Unmarried People Living Together, Is Legalized In UAE – Don’t You Think Nigeria Muslims Should Do Same?

Few days ago, Kano statetate government destroyed 1,975,000 bottles of beer worth N200m.. claiming that it’s forbidden in Islam.
The destruction exercise was carried out at Kalebawa in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of the state by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
He said,
“Consumption of alcohol and all other intoxicants could distort the mental capability of a person and that it is forbidden in Islam”.
Also under Islamic law, a man and woman who are yet married are not allowed to live together. If caught, they will be brutally punished or sentence to death by hanging or stoning.
Under same Islamic law, women are not allowed to dress sexy. If anyone tries it, she will be sentence to death or prison.
Surprisingly, the United Arab Emirates has announced that drinking alcohol and cohabiting outside of marriage are to be allowed under the Islamic law.
What does that mean? It simply means that Muslims are now free to consume alcohol without threat of punishment and also encourages unmarried man and woman living together untill they chooses to get married officially.
Wow! That’s a good one. It seems civilization and modernization is reshaping some primitive and outdated Islamic rules and regulations in top Muslim countries.????
But my question is, will Northern Nigerian Muslims adjust?
