Tyson Fury on Sunday morning became the WBC heavyweight champion of the world, defeating Deontay Wilder in the 7th round in the Heavyweight championship clash in MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas

Fury got a technical knockout over Deontay Wilder in the seventh round after inflicting many devastating headshots on the American.

Fury knocked out Wilder in the second round, making the American fall down to the canvas, his second time of touching the canvas in his career, which ultimately led to his loss against a much fitter and energetic Fury.

Both men made stunning ring walks in front of a packed-out MGM Grand, with Wilder donning a shiny suit of armour with his lighted mask while Fury entered the ring sitting on a golden throne.

It was the second time both fighters were fighting, after getting a draw in the first clash in December 2018, and with the win Fury clinches the WBC heavyweight belt while still retaining the Lineal and Ring magazine heavyweight championship belt.
