Nigerian veteran hip hop artist, Eedris Abdulkareem has advised Nigerian ladies on what to expect when dating Nigerian musicians
In a recent interview with Hip Tv, the Jaga Jaga singer stated that ladies should never believe musicians who promise them assurance because these artists have ulterior motives. Eedris threw direct shades at Chioma and Davido when he talked about young girls leaving schools to run after artists. In his own words, he said:
“My advice to every girl out there is, Don’t ever believe any musician singing assurance to you that he will marry you, they are lying to you. They just want to get what they can get and leave you alone. Listen very carefully, how would your parents feel that you left school to follow another man that did not marry you that you know won’t marry you.
Like seriously, are you kidding me? Hello eh! Listen, it’s not the fault of the artiste, it is the fault of those you girls that get carried away. Go back to school. Go and be finally secured, if you’re financially secured, when you love you, it’s from your heart, you won’t love because of money. Go back to school and stop believing any assurance. There fake assurance all over the place go back to school and make your parents proud. These musicians sing for pleasure”
