A total lockdown of Nigeria because of coronavirus will affect Nigerians immensely.

As the deadly coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage countries, it has been predicted that a further lockdown of Nigeria will affect the country and its citizens adversely.

Although the lockdown will help curtail the spread of the virus, however, other economic and social implications will be too difficult for ordinary Nigerians to cope with especially at a time when they are in need of food and shelter.

Here are 5 things Nigeria will most likely achieve with the lockdown.

1) Basic esentials will be on the rise.

2) More jobs will be lost.

3) Nigerians will become poorer.

4) Crime will increase.

5) More Nigerians will die from other diseases like High Blood pressure, depression, malnutrition etc due to lack of access healthcare and emergency response.

At some point violence and lawlessness will have a field day and people won’t even care anymore if they are infected or not. This will lead to a wider spread.
