Chelsea XI Vs Crystal Palace: Predicted Lineup And Early Team News

With N’Golo Kante out with a hamstring injury, Frank Lampard will decide whether to bring Jorginho back in from the cold or start Billy Gilmour at the base of the Chelsea midfield against Crystal Palace.

Jorginho has not had a minute of action since the restart but Lampard has said the Italian has trained well as he seeks a return to the team.

Gilmour’s only start since the restart was in the FA Cup at Leicester when he was substituted at half-time.

After Chelsea kept a clean sheet against Watford, Lampard will be tempted to stick with the back four that played in that game.

Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso could have to settle for a place on the bench again.

Olivier Giroud is set to lead the line once again ahead of Tammy Abraham after his goal against Watford.

Mateo Kovacic and Fikayo Tomori remained sidelined through injury.

Chelsea predicted lineup (4-3-3): Kepa; James, Christensen, Zouma, Azpilicueta; Barkley, Gilmour, Mount; Willian, Giroud, Pulisic
