There is some type of nostalgia you get when you listen to an old hit remixed by some of your current favorite artistes.
In the “BUDWEISER SMOOTH KINGS REMIX” Episode1 which happens to be the first of it’s kind, Ycee And BBNaija’s Veeiye were trusted to do justice to the remix ofM.I‘s hit single “Action Film”.
M.I‘s Hit Action film is one of the most remixed tracks in the country and was released as far back as 2010. Released in a year full of hits like Naeto C’s 10 over 10 and D’Banj’s Scape Goat, the track was the best that year.
Listening to this song made me fall in love with the song again as YCee and Vee did exceptionally well in remixing the song with alternate sounds behind the sounds.
It is never an easy task to remix a rap song and make it sound better vocally and lyrically compared to an all-around melodious tune and I must say these boys did justice to the song. The result was thrilling and so much fun.
