Why Messi Should NEVER Leave Barcelona – Do You Think He Should Leave?

Posted by E.L.E.X on September 02 2020 under Sports

No matter what happens in the management board at Barcelona, Lionel Messi has deep roots with the Catalan team and he’s bound to stay with them for a long time.

He came to the city as a boy of 13 years old with raw talents needing some refinements,

While he needed some treatment for his growth deficiency syndrome.

He has lived in this city for a good 2 decades and nowhere else can home save the ancient and beautiful city of Barcelona.

Here are my humble reasons why Messi shouldn’t leave Barcelona.

1. Messi has already said it in his own words that he will play out all his professional football career in Barcelona and doesn’t see himself going to other clubs, and as a man of his few but sincere words, he doesn’t look like someone who will break his bone.

2. Messi is Barça all-time leading goal scorer and he’s the best ever to wear that Blaugrana jersey.

3. Messi is a “Barcelona/Catalunya treasure” and he can’t be traded for anything; same way Santos kept Pele from being signed by any other club and declared him a national treasure.

4. Barcelona gave Messi all to become who he is, they helped him in the time of distress, now is the time for Messi to also help the club when it’s facing one of the biggest crisis ever.

5. Champions and winners don’t run away from crisis and Problems; they stay back and tackle it and come out stronger and better.

6. Last but not least: Messi is Barcelona and Barça is Messi.

Conclusion

Forget about all the money Manchester CityPSG or Inter Milan wants to splash on one of the greatest ever soccer player, Messi has stayed in Barcelona for good 20 years and knows no other home except the Catalan city.

He should stay back and help the club come out of this crisis.
