WEIRD! LGBTQ Community In Nigeria Speak Against Burna Boy And Sam Smith Collaboration (Here’s WHY)

After it emerged that Burna Boy and Sam Smith have a collaboration that will be released tomorrow, there have been several reactions to the single

Mainly, it’s coming from the Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Community (LGBTQ) community in Nigeria.

This is it. Sam Smith is non binary meaning he doesn’t identify as a man or woman. He’s genderqueer and a part of the thriving LGBTQ community in the UK.

However, Burna Boy has been so different about the term. He once had a squabble with bleaching agent, Dencia speaking out against Blac Chyna coming to Nigeria in 2018 to launch a whitening cream.

And in several tweets, many felt Burna Boy had not done enough to speak for the LGBTQ community in Nigeria. Hence they feel the collaboration with Sam Smith is weird.
