Torres has been a mainstay in Valencia’s team over the past two years and had played 35 games for the Spanish side this season before the 2019-20 campaign was suspended due to coronavirus.
The 20-year-old has scored six goals and created a further six this term, helping Valencia impress in La Liga and the Champions League.
Torres’ performances have not gone unnoticed, with a number of top European clubs now monitoring his situation, according to Goal.
It is claimed Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool are the latest clubs to express interest, with Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City already firmly in the race.
Torres rebuffed recent attempts from Valencia to iron out terms for a new long-term contract, with his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2021.
The Spain U21 star has a £92million buy-out clause written into his current contract, but Valencia are aware they may need to sell Torres for much cheaper.
Despite Manchester United and Liverpool showing interest in Torres, German club Dortmund are believed to be leading the race to strike a deal with Valencia.
