Atletico Madrid reportedly rejected the chance of getting Antoine Griezmann back in a swap deal that would have taken Joao Felix to Barcelona.

There is set to be plenty of changes at the Nou Camp this summer with Ronald Koeman keen to stamp his mark on the Barca squad.

Koeman replaced Quique Setien as boss earlier this month though has a big challenge on his hands with Lionel Messi wanting to leave the club.

But it seems Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is having a big say on transfers too.

Marca suggest the president offered to return Griezmann to Atletico Madrid as part of a proposed swap deal for Felix.

Atletico are believed to have rejected the offer despite being willing to re-sign Griezmann if possible.

Griezmann only left the Spanish capital for Barcelona last summer while Felix has spent just one season at Atletcio having signed from Benfica.
