Man United goalkeeper De Gea missed a crucial penalty as his team lost to Villarreal on penalties in the Europa League final.
With the game tied at 1-1 after extra time, both sides converted their first 10 penalties meaning the goalkeepers had to step up and take the 11th spot-kicks.
Geronimo Rulli was the hero, firing his penalty beyond De Gea before keeping out the Spain international’s low effort.
