This is the dramatic moment a driver apparently lost control of his car on a water-logged road before crashing into a petrol station in Swanley, a town in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England.

CCTV shows the black Mercedes spin across the A20 bypass in Swanley, narrowly avoiding another car before spinning off the road and crashing into the BP petrol station.

The Mercedes smashes into a blue parked car and one of the pumps, sending advertising boards flying.

In the final seconds of the video, the driver is seen emerging from the car, seemingly unharmed after the shocking incident.
