SO SAD! Comedian Mr Ibu Down With Stroke

Veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu is down with severe stroke, SunNewspaper reports.

The comic actor, according to a close family source, was hit by a mysterious stroke shortly after he returned from a trip to Owerri.

The source also confirmed that Mr. Ibu is currently being taken care of by an undisclosed herbalist and is responding to treatment.

Confirming the story, Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN President Emeka Rollas said:

“I am aware that Mr Ibu is truly down with stroke, but he is fast recovering and need more of our prayers right now.”

John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu is a Nigerian actor and comedian.

Okafor is considered to be one of Nigeria’s most talented comic characters. His humorous acting is often characterized by stupidity, hilarious imbecility and a sharp disconnection from reality. He is aged 57.

This is coming after a video of Nollywood veteran actor Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe crying out for help went viral earlier this year.

Although it was reported that some of his colleagues have come to his aid and already putting resources together to help him get treatment for his ailment.

One of the actors that visited him, Jigan Babaoja shared an update on his social media as well as a photo of himself giving Baba Suwe some money.
