SAY NO TO RAPE!!! 17 Year Old Girl Gang-raped By Three Street Urchins In Ekiti

A 17-year-old girl was ambushed and gang-raped by three armed boys suspected to be street urchins, in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Monday, June 1.
According to reports, the victim sells sachet water and soft drinks at the popular Oja’ba market in Ado-Ekiti. At about 7pm on Monday, three young men wielding broken bottles accosted her, took her to a secluded area, and took turns to rape her for over 45 minutes.
She later went to an undisclosed hospital for medical treatment after which the incident was reported to the Ekiti Police Command and Office of the Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Mrs Bisi Fayemi who picked up her medical bill.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Sunday Abutu said two suspects have been arrested in connection with the gang-rape. He said efforts are being made to arrest the third suspect.
