Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife and fellow philanthropist Melinda announced on Monday they are divorcing after 27-years in marriage.
They announced their decision to separate after 27 years of marriage in a statement tweeted from their personal accounts.
The couple met at Microsoft and married in Hawaii in 1994.
Bill and Melinda are one of the world’s wealthiest couples with a joint fortune estimated at $130 billion.
POSSIBLE REASONS FOR THE DIVORCE:
Y’all knows that Bill Gates wants to give almost all his wealth to charity, Melinda quickly filed for a divorce so the wealth could be splitted into two and she go with her own share.
Some people applauds them for handling the situation maturely and respectfully.
Lol they did it maturely, because of what people would say. You know they’re public figures that half of the world look up to. They wouldn’t wanna ruin that RESPECT or anything that would tarnish their image and business name.
