Over 50 alleged homosexuals arrested during alleged orgy in Kano

Over 50 alleged homosexuals were reportedly arrested by the Sharia Police popularly known as Hisbah at a party organized at Sabuwar-Gandu Quarters in Kano metropolis.
The men who were arrested before the party began, were accused of coming together as homosexuals to celebrates their togetherness. However the new graduates insisted that they organized the party to celebrate their graduation from tertiary institution.
Mallam Tasiu, a senior Hisbah commander confirmed the arrest of the man and also alleged that they invited their same sex partners to the event. Tasiu who revealed that the men were arrested after they gathered intelligence, added that they are currently undergoing reorientation programmes.
The Senior Hisbah commander disclosed that the reorientation programmes which is taking place before their prosecution, is done according to the teachings of Islam.
