Onitsha Lockdown Relaxation, What It Looks Like (Pictures)

Following the partial lockdown of activities in Anambra, I decided to stroll out to Upper-Iweka to board a bus to Awka.

There’s high level WHO compliance, most people I saw on my way out were mostly wearing their face masks.

Anambra borders are closed to outsiders from entering the state. So it means that all these vehicles are only moving within and around Anambra.

Worthy of note, aside God Almighty, Anambra is almost self-sufficient, the state produces basically most of the things it needs.

Products like- pharmaceutical, agricultural, packaged agro foods, polished milled rice, beverages, main market, automobile manufacturing accessories, etc.

So there is hardly anything that we use in Anambra that we import from any state in Nigeria, rather other states are struggling to pass through our borders to buy commodities for their use in their states.

Anambra is truly the light of nation.
