Ondo 2020: How We Will Check Vote Buying, Violence – INEC Reveals

Ondo State chapter of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it has started putting all necessary measures in place to stop vote-buying in the upcoming election.

The electoral umpire expressed that it started with a large voters’ education campaign across the state.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Rufus Akeju, who spoke on Tuesday at training in Akure, said the election will be credible and conclusive.

Rufus Akeju said the commission is ready for the upcoming election.

Residents of Ondo State are set to head the polls in October to vote for a new governor.
