It is no longer news that the Nigerian Federal Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of Nigeria has allegedly been reported to be involved in Boko Haram

A publication by an online media company linked the Scholar to then leader of Boko Haram, Muhammad Yusuf as allies, and that Pantami has been listed by the American Government under its terrorist watch list.

This controversial publication was later retracted by the media company and an apology rendered. The matter has since being taken to court for redress.

The minister of Communication, Pantami denied the allegation and threatens to sue media platforms that circulated the report “have just endorsed a fake report without verifying” and stated that “he has never been on any US watchlist.”

However, Nigerians are trending #PantanmiResign on Twitter, and below is what they are saying.
