Nigeria records 126 new COVID-19 cases

Nigeria has recorded 126  new cases of the Coronavirus.

 

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), 37 of the new cases were recorded in Abuja, 27 in Lagos, 16 in Plateau, 9 in Kaduna, 7 in Abia, while Gombe and Ondo states recorded six cases each.

 

Other states that recorded new cases include Imo state with 5 new cases, Delta, Ekiti, Oyo and Kwara recorded 2 new cases each while  Bauchi, Katsina, Kano, Yobe, Ogun and Katsina states recorded one case each.

 

56,604 new cases of COVID-19 have so far been confirmed in Nigeria. 47,872 patients have so far been discharged and 1,091 deaths have sadly been recorded.
