An official of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) who attended the burial ceremony of President Buhari's Chief of Staff Abba Kyari, has sparked off a row of controversy after being spotted in a viral video removing his Personal protective equipment (PPE) with bare hands.

A Personal protective equipment (PPE) is used when there is a risk of exposure to infectious material. PPE is designed to protect the skin and mucous membranes from exposure to pathogens.

The NCDC official was however accused of "carelessly" removing his PPE against health procedures. A Nigerian doctor, Eze Leo Obinna wrote on Facebook;

This is one of the guys that buried Abba Kyari discarding his PPE along the road with bare hands.No Fumigation.No burning.
Where is NCDC?
