Underaged Voters Where seen voting in some polling units in Ebonyi state on Saturday presidential election. EBONYI DAILY NEWS first report.
Some of the underaged children were between the age of 7-13years.
The underaged children where casting their votes for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
The INEC in 2018 explained that underage voters were registered because the lives of registration officers were been threatened by some members of the community.
Featuring on African Independent Television, footage which was obtained by EBONYI DAILY NEWS, INEC’s Director of Publicity and Voter Education, Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, said officials out of fear for their lives and threats by community members register underage voters.
