Queen & Slim was a 2019 movie that best depicts the racist abuse that uproar in 2020 all over the world
The movie is an American romantic road crime drama film directed by Melina Matsoukas (in her feature directorial debut) and with a screenplay by Lena Waithe from a story by James Frey and Waithe.
The good news is this film won BET Best Movie Of The Year 2020 award ahead of the most predicted “Bad Boys For Life” and “Home Coming”.
The main actor and actress in the movies are Black Americans which they are known as (Daniel Kaluuya) Slim and (Jodie Turner-Smith) Queen.
Summary
Slim and Queen’s first date takes an unexpected turn when a policeman pulls them over for a minor traffic violation. When the situation escalates, Slim takes the officer’s gun and shoots him in self-defense. Now labeled cop killers in the media, Slim and Queen feel that they have no choice but to go on the run and evade the law. When a video of the incident goes viral, the unwitting outlaws soon become a symbol of trauma, terror, grief, and pain for people all across the country.
