MAD O! Car Kills Man Video Calling His Girlfriend While Crossing The Road In Ogun

A 26-year-old man, Olajide Asade, is dead after being crushed by a car while reportedly making a video call with his girlfriend in Siun along Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway.

The tragic incident happened on Wednesday, 6th May 2020. The deceased and his brother, identified as Azeez, were on their way to Ajah, Lagos, when their car developed a mechanical fault.

While other passengers were standing by the roadside waiting for the driver to repair his vehicle, the deceased decided to cross to the other side of the road while deeply concentrated on his video call with his girlfriend oblivious of the oncoming vehicle.

Azeez said his brother had been making the video call with the girlfriend right from when they took off from Kuto motor park in Abeokuta. He maintained that the driver of the car, who hit the deceased, was on normal speed.

The corpse of the deceased has since been deposited at the morgue while the driver is currently being detained.
