American rapper/singer, Lil Nas X, suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while performing on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live.

The “Old Town Road” rapper appeared on the long-running series to perform his new single “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” last night.

During the performance, the rapper whose real name is Montero Lamar accidentally ripped his pants near his crotch area while dancing on the stripper pole on stage with several shirtless backup dancers.

The 22-year-old was forced to continue with his performance with his hand on his crotch to cover up the ripped pants.

He later admitted on Twitter that his pants accidentally ripped during his performance, writing “NOT MY PANTS RIPPED ON LIVE ON TV”

In a follow-up post, he added: “OMFG NO.”

“I wanted to do my pole routine so bad this what I get lmaoo,” he wrote in a third Twitter post.
