Having watched some rap freestyles made by the Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, I was quick to predict his future outside the house as a blown artiste.
“Blow for where?” my friend interrupted.
“Nigeria Music Industry is not appreciating rapper, if anything blow from him, it would probably be his iPhone charger”, he added.
At that, I was grip to pause for a while and reason over it.
Then, I quickly remember Efe, an ex-BBNaija winner. Despite him emerging the ultimate winner of 2017 Big Brother Naija, He is unable to pen his name in the rap game.
It’s apparently clear that BBNaija’s influence doesn’t reflect on Efe’s music career.
But another thing I want us all to consider is that what works for you might not work for me, and don’t forget that Laycon is an English-Yoruba rapper.
