Juventus superstar, Paulo Dybala has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus as the Italian giants confirmed that 121 people at the club have gone into self-isolation.
Venezuelan publication El Nacional confirmed in a report that Paulo Dybala recently tested positive for coronavirus and has been placed into quarantine.
On Wednesday night, Juventus Defender Daniele Rugani became the first confirmed case of coronavirus of any player in Serie A. He shared a dressing room with his Juventus teammates as they defetaed Inter Milan 2-0 behind closed doors on Sunday.
The club have now announced in a statement that 121 people, including players, staff members, managers, escorts and Juventus employees are self-isolating at home.
A club statement read: 'Following yesterday's news, relating to the positivity to Coronavirus-COVID 19 of the player Daniele Rugani, it is specified that 121 people, including players, staff members, managers, escorts and Juventus employees are observing a period of voluntary home isolation, in compliance with the requirements of the health authorities based on the provisions currently in force.'
Cristiano Ronaldo is also self-isolating, at his Madeira home in Portugal.
The former Real Madrid star had flown back to his homeland to visit his mother, who recently suffered a stroke before the news broke. He has also threatened not to return back to Italy because of the deadly coronavirus.
