Popular exam boy JAMB has extended the registration of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) by two weeks.

The UTME was initially meant to hold between June 5 and 19 but has been scheduled to hold from June 19 to July 3.

The announcement was made by the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB), Prof Is-haq Oloyede in Abuja today May 15.

The registrar also announced an extension of registration for the examination by two weeks. The registration exercise will now end on May 29.

The decision to postpone the examination was made due to the difficulties faced by candidates registering for the examination.

Professor Oloyede said over 600,000 candidates who have indicated interest to participate in the 2021 UTME are yet to register.
