Twitter is on fire as Burna Boy rejected Sowore’s offer to join RevolutionNow Protest

Nigerians are dragging self-acclaimed African Giant, after the public conversation that transpired between him and human right activist, Omoyele Sowore.

Yesterday the 29th September 2020,  Sowore on a tweet, stylishly calls out Burna Boy, a singer and songwriter to fight against the Nigerian government with his music as Fela did.

He wrote,

“Hello @burnaboy, everywhere I turn people describe you as a revolutionary musician, the foreign media even celebrate you compare you to Fela Kuti, but I am yet to see you lead anyone to a police station carrying a coffin for head of state! Join #Oct1stProtest #RevolutionNow“

This very tweet by Sowore didn’t sit well with Burnaboy. So in response to that, he tweeted,

“Everybody is a Fela fan and supporter now that he is dead. Humans are so Funny, You politicians are ALL the same (especially in Nigeria) and Frankly I don’t trust none of you.@YeleSowore“.

Few hours later, Sowore aggressively replied Burnaboy’s tweet and wrote,

“I am not just one of the persons who you could describe as “Fela’s fan after he died,” I am a member of Fela’s household, ask @RealSeunKuti , as a student’s leader in the 90s I met and hung out with Abami Eda at home and the African shrine! If you want to be Fela be Fela.”

Burnaboy was like,

“Off to eat my jollof rice and plantain now! Also my @boohooMAN collection drops tomorrow on http://boohooman.com”.

This is not cool with average Nigerians as they rubbish Oluwa Burna, see what people are saying ????
