Iraq’s President Barham Saleh on Wednesday January 8, denounced Iranian missile strikes which targeted air bases occupied by US and other foreign troops in the country.

Saleh who expressed fear of “dangerous developments” in the region, rejected the repeated violation of its sovereignty and the transformation of Iraq into a battlefield for warring sides.

A statement released by his office read;

“We denounce the Iranian missile bombing that hit military installations on Iraqi territory and renew our rejection of the repeated violation of state sovereignty and the transformation of Iraq into a battlefield for warring sides."

Recall LIB reported that the United States Government confirmed that there was no American casualty in the missile airstrike launched in Tehran, Iran's capital.
