Though Meghan has half-siblings, she's the only child her father had with her mother.
Her half-sister, Samantha Markle has constantly criticized Meghan and even wrote a tell-all book on their difficult childhood.
Samantha published The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister, which took aim at the Duchess of Sussex.
During the interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan was asked about her sister's claims in the book and she dismissed the claim, insisting her half-sibling "didn't know" her.
Meghan rubbished the book written by Samantha, saying: "I think it would be very hard to tell all when you don't know me."
Asked how she felt about the book, Meghan said: "This is a very different situation than my dad, when we talk about betrayal, betrayal comes from someone you have a relationship with.
"I don't feel comfortable talking about people that I really don't know but I grew up as an only child, which everyone who grew up around me knows, and I wished I had siblings, I would have loved to have had siblings."
Apparently, to prove that Meghan actually grew up having her siblings around, Samantha released the family photo on Twitter.
In the photo, Meghan is seen with her father, Thomas Markle Sr. and her half-sister Samantha.
Though they are blood relatives, Meghan made it clear to Oprah Winfrey that she rarely ever saw Samantha.
She said: "The last time I saw her (Samantha) must have been at least 18 or 19 years ago, and then before that, 10 years before that."
She said they were "not close", adding: "She changed her last name back to Markle, she was in her early 50s at that time, only when I started dating Harry, so I think that says enough."
