Former Governor Of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi succumbs to the cold hands of death through Covid-19

The former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi has died at the age of 70.

Ajimobi who was recently appointed as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Committee of the party died due to Coronavirus complications.

The former lawmaker fell ill after testing positive to Coronavirus and was reported to be in a critical condition before the time of his death.

He ruled Oyo State for eight years before he was appointed by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC.

Ajimobi was a former Managing director at the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum Company.
