Yes, Fireboy is doing a fantastic job… I mean, who does that – 2 Albums in a space of 9 months Not even Olamide (the most consistent artiste in Nigeria as far as single & album is concerned) has done that.

In fact, immediately after Fireboy dropped his Album yesterday – he started trending on Twitter as Nigerians say he’s no longer on the same level with REMA & Joeboy not to even talk of Omah Lay.

The Attention On Burna Boy’s “Twice As Tall” Album Is Too Aggressive

Yes, Fireboy is doing so well but that doesn’t mean he should drop an Album at the time when Burna Boy‘s album is tearing charts apart.

For me, I think the YBNL team is trying to prove a point here but Burna Boy is so big that his album might overshadow that of the youngster and limit it from growing to its full potential.

This is not a strategic move at all if you ask me. Yes, Fireboy‘s album will do well but it might not get all the attention it needs to thrive now that Burna’s own is also very much hot.

I hope you guys are understanding what I’m trying to explain here.

For me, I think they should have just kept the album buzz alive for now and release it at a later date when Burna album has move off the radar a bit and not now that the spotlight is so much on it.

Maybe They Want To Let The World Know How Big Fireboy Is?

Guess you all know YBNL signed a distribution deal with Empire – I believe they must have a concrete plan as regards the Album distribution and they intend to get it on all the store charts..

I feel they are ready to make the album trend and top many charts so they can brag that Fireboy is as big as Burna Boy?

Just thinking out loud… This is Nigeria na, our people here can do anything just to showoff ooooo.
