You will agree with me that in football, there is no champion forever if care is not taken a football club at the top today can get relegated.
In past years, big clubs like AC Milan, Inter Milan and Arsenal have suffered significant decline so far in the football world.
This team was a strong Champions League contender in some old years back and number one in Seria A. Who knows Juventus during AC Milan’s reign?
The Italian team competes aggressively with Barcelona, Liverpool, Real Madrid and many then. They’ve produced so many great footballers like Kaka, Shevchenko, Andre Pirlo, Dida and so many notable names that we can’t be mentioning.
Unfortunately, they diminish from their status and become a struggling team which ends all season at a maximum spot of seven (7) in the league ranking.
Even a real football gambler won’t dare bet on AC Milan to win on a fixture against a small club like Palermo FC.
Inter Milan is another team that best describe a club that suffered a decline after winning 30 domestic trophies.
After suffering some years fighting for their throne in the Italian League, they pick back in 2009/2010 season after luring Jose Mourinho to the club to claimed treble (Champions League, Coppa Italia and Seria A).
Then what happened next? They went back to their struggling mode.
They’ve been trying so many attempts to get back on track by signing top players from different clubs. Introduction of Manchester United’s trio, Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young, and Spurs’ Eriksen are likely to boost the team ability.
Despite the signings, they still keep conceding defeat and being trashed from teams at the bottom. Nothing change!
For Arsenal, their decline in form seems like a spell for their fans.
This is a club that has won many trophies in England. This is a club with the longest unbeaten runs in the history of English football.
It’s quite sad that even the smallest of all teams in England are beating up Arsenal in matches.
At first, it was as if, the professor himself, Arsene Wenger the club’s former coach was the problem but now it’s clear that their problem is a whole system problem starting from the board.
Right now, Arsenal is as good as West Ham United.
