Edo Government Confirms Over 6 New Cases Of Coronavirus (Read Details)

The Edo State government has confirmed seven new cases of Coronavirus disease in the state.

The confirmation was made by the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, in a tweet via his Twitter account on Friday.

The tweet reads:-

”Seven new cases confirmed as at 10:00 am, 1st May, 2020.

β€œTotal number of active cases: 31.

β€œ10 patients have been discharged with 3 deaths recorded.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Thursday confirmed 204 new cases of Coronavirus disease in the country.

Nigeria now has 1,932 confirmed cases of COVID-19; 319 patients out of these have been discharged, while 58 deaths have been recorded.
