The wife to the Vice President of Malawi has released a rap song to campaign for her husband and it has taken the internet by storm.
Mary Nkhamanyachi Chilima, whose husband Saulos Chilima is the current Vice President and also contesting to be the next president of the country, released the song in a bid to influence the Malawian youth to vote the UTM party in the upcoming elections.
About 70% of the country’s population is under the age of 30 and Chilima is hopeful that her new song will boost the voter turnout on the 21st of May.
Surprisingly, Chilima's music video was well received and is now going viral. Some have said she will succeed if she pursues a career as an entertainer.
