Governor Godwin Obaseki has been named the most outstanding governor of the year 2020 by the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ).
This was contained in a statement signed by its Secretary-General, Charles Okhai.
According to organisers, the awards are designed to motivate and encourage leaders who have demonstrated the spirit of patriotism, leadership excellence, and integrity.
The organisers stated that the deserving recipients have achieved tremendously in various degrees in their capacities as leaders.
Obaseki is seeking a 2nd term in office in the forthcoming Edo governorship election in September.
