In the midst of unpleasant happenings in Nigeria and the United States in recent times, some Nigerian artistes are displaying senselessness.

Slimcase and Dice Ailes seem not to be moved about the unjust killings going on in Nigeria, both artiste seems to be more interested in the racism issue going on in America.

While American artistes are giving their voice against blacks’ oppression by the Whites in the US, Slimcase and Dice Ailes prefer to ignore the loss of lives in Nigeria.

His attention was called to the murder of 16-year-old girl, Tina by trigger happy Police officers in Iyana Oworo Lagos after he posted about George Floyd, a black American killed by White Police Officers.

It is quite shocking how Slimcase downplayed the issue of the little girl’s murder saying he doesn’t need to talk about it, he’d rather leave the little girl’s murder talks to Channels TV.

Slimcase showed no sympathy until when he was dragged on social media.

It is funny how this one suddenly become a low budget Travis Scott after many years of doing music in Nigeria.

Dice Ailes was quick to deny being a Nigerian after a fan called his attention to addressing the trending issue of loss of innocent lives in Nigeria.

What Slimcase and Dice Ailes failed to realize is that no one said the issue of George Floyd is not worth talking about.

But as an entertainer with many Nigerians looking up to you, then you should be able to lend your voice to issues concerning Nigerians too.

Well, being a celebrity doesn’t translate to acting right at all times, both artistes should learn from their mistakes and move on.
