Derek Chauvin convicted of murdering George Floyd, faces 75yrs in jail.
According to report, a US jury has found a former police officer, Derek Chauvin, guilty of murdering African-American George Floyd after he knelt on his neck for over 9 minutes, on a Minneapolis street in May, 2020.
In a verdict which was broadcasted live on Tuesday, April 20, Chauvin was found guilty on three charges: second-degree murder, third-degree murder and manslaughter.
The heartless officer who has been in prison custody since his arrest, faces up to 75 years in prison.
MY OPINION:
75yrs is not enough, too small. Life sentence or death is better. American prison is like some people’s home in Nigeria, even better. Apart from freedom, they lack nothing. Some prisoners school, work and get paid in there. Living well than some average Africans.
Death sentence is better! Or he should be send down to serve the 75yrs prison sentence in Nigeria prison.????
