Nigerian singer, Terry G, has shared his thoughts on the new set of artists currently making waves in the music industry.

In a recent interview with The Punch, the singer praised the present-day artistes for their hard work as Nigerian music is now being recognized globally.

However, he noted that they are egocentric and can always improve.

He said:-

“Although most of them are egocentric, I must praise them for putting in extra work. Now, we are recognised globally. There are just little lapses but there’s always room for improvement.”

Speaking on his recent collaboration with Skiibii “Adura”, the “Free Madness” singer said he had always had a cordial relationship with the “Sensima” singer and felt like it was high time they collaborated.“We have always had a cordial relationship, so I felt it was high time we did something together.”

Terry G also noted that though some may think his sound had changed because of the direction of his new song. He explained that he is versatile and can do all genres perfectly and play different kinds of instruments.

He added that he just decided to show the cool side of himself but his next song would be the real shocker.

“I am versatile. I can do all the genres of music perfectly and play different instruments. (This time), I just decided to show the cool side of me but trust me, my next song would have everyone walking around with their bells.”
