Some people don’t know that REMA was a millionaire before venturing into music/joining Mavin Records.

Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper. In 2019, he signed a record deal with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records. He rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.

According to him, he suffered while hustling in Ghana. That’s not true. Rema was born into a wealthy family. His late father was a politician and one of the top PDP Chieftains in Edo state.

Rema bought his mother a car, a Lexus SUV, for around 3.4 million naira at the age of 17. You can imagine that. Where did he get such money from at that tender age.

I don’t know why some celebrities always wanna associate themselves with poverty and streets life. Davido would always claimed he suffered..when, how and where? Lol

In case you didn’t know, Now, you know…
