Coronavirus: Prove You’re Not ‘Lifeless’, Hold Live Press Briefing – Nigerians Tell Buhari

Nigerians on social media have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to prove US President Donald Trump wrong by showing the world he is not a “lifeless” President.

Recall that Trump had referred to his Nigerian counterpart as “lifeless”, shortly after a meeting between the two leaders on April 30, 2018.

And immediately after his national broadcast on COVID-19 on Monday, Nigerians wondered why the President cannot hold a press briefing where he would answer questions from journalists on the ravaging pandemic.

According to them, this was the best time for President Buhari to show Nigerians that he is not “lifeless” as presumed by the US President.
