Bukola Saraki Lost Senate Re-Election Bid To APC’s Ibrahim Oloriegbe

The All Progressives Congress, APC senatorial candidate has won the PDP senator Bukola Saraki with a margin of about 262 votes in Kwara state.

The APC won the senatorial poll with 473 votes to beat PDP’s Senator Bukola Saraki who polled 211.

The APC also defeated the PDP in the House of Representatives election, winning 484 votes as against PDP’s 200.

Saraki however won his own polling unit at Agbaji Quarters, Ajikobi Ward, Ilorin West LGA and also delivered for Atiku Abubakar.

Locals in Kwara State had, in the lead up to the general election, adopted the ‘Ó tó gé (enough is enough)’ slogan to show disapproval of his stranglehold on the state’s affairs.
