Breaking! Kano Records First Coronavirus Death

The Kano State Government has confirmed the death of a COVID-19 patient in the state.
A tweet by the state’s Ministry for Health via its official Twitter handle: @KNSMOH, read:
“Wednesday, 15th April 2020.As at 11:55 pm, 1 death of #COVID19 has been recorded in @KanostateNg.”
Though details of the late patient were not given, the state’s health ministry however said that twelve new cases of the disease have been recorded as at Wednesday, April 15.
Currently, the State has recorded 16 confirmed cases of the coronavirus as at 11:20pm, April 15, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
