A boat conveying INEC staff and election materials to Ilaje communities in Ilaje local government area in Ondo state capsized this morning. The INEC ad-hoc staff were on their way to the polling unit for the state governorship election taking place today on Saturday October 10, when the boat capsized. The election materials were all destroyed in the incident. Thankfully, the victims have been rescued alive. Watch the video from the scene below
