Veteran Nigerian singer Banky W has taken to his social media page to react as Federal government allocates N27 billion for building renovation in the revised budget.

Banky W who seemed unhappy with the news wondered why the government is spending N27 billion naira on building renovation while most Nigerians are still struggling to afford every basic amenities.

It will be recalled that the Federal government had cut down the country’s budget following the global fall in oil price caused by the spread of deadly coronavirus.

While the Federal government slashed Universal Basic education budget and Primary health care budget almost by half, one would be expecting that the renovation budget be drastically cut down.

However, it was only brought down to N27 billion from N37 billion.
