This word “Naija go better” has been ringing in my ear since my childhood

Now I’m 26 years of age and there’s no assurance of a better tomorrow, nothing for our new generations to hold to.

The leaders have failed us and are still failing us and will still fail us more, this is not a curse but the bitter truth you hate to hear.

Let’s take the matter of the coronavirus as an example

Covid-19 is a big scam in Nigeria but I was part of the people that believe initially because of the way they made us feel.

Though there might be few people who have actually been infected due to the movement from other countries to Nigeria, it’s not as much as they exaggerated.

Let’s presume it’s a strategy to put us on alert and make us stay home, then you have to be plain and transparent to Nigerians.

Where is the N700 billion palliative that was allocated for Coronavirus? Na today?? Monkey and snake self dn chop our money tire.

Two good reasons you should know it’s a big scam

over 11,000 patients were discharged within 24 hours which is not proper at all (from 3rd of August to 4th of August)
Lagos Health Commissioner which recovers from COVID-19 within 7 days, a recovery period that we all know it takes 14 days

Let’s move to our security body

I was captured on the road and transferred to the police station last year for putting on dread.

If you protest against their weakness or call their attention to matters affecting us, you’re in trouble.

Our police are the ones disrupting a revolution protest. What are they trying to tell us? Don’t protest, don’t speak, keep quiet, or what?

It was recently reported that DSS has warned Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage for media protest and they’ve now arrested Waje and Yemi Alade for a similar offense.

The reason why I said and insists you can only be a better person is that

You can make a better life but don’t expect a better Nigeria.

If you’re a successful business person, entrepreneur, musician, footballer, or other fields you won’t necessarily need to put your hope on Nigeria.

Dangote, Wizkid, Otedola, Davido, Iwobi are examples of better people from a failed nation. You might not be up to these levels but once you’re successful on your own just forget about the phrase “Naija go better”.

Note: This corruption is on everyone not only the leaders, but citizens are also greedy.

Some foodstuffs that were distributed during the Coronavirus period, the head of the places will consume all with their own family and be less concerned about the citizens.

What shocked me most is a woman who received a bag of rice for a whole house, and she finished it all with her children without informing her co-tenant. Is that not greediness?

How do you want Nigeria to be better when we don’t love ourselves?
